retro parties make a comeback!

Forget expensive venues and appearances from the likes of Elsa from Frozen . According to new research carried out for One4all, the Post Office gift card, parents prefer to throw simple birthday parties like they enjoyed themselves as children in the ’70s and ’80s. Most parents prefer parties to be held at home with just a few close friends, rather than a lengthy guest list. And 75% of them said they like to serve up jelly and ice cream, with only 7% opting for healthy treats. Pass the parcel and musical chairs were voted the best party games.…
