A National Tragedy THE country was left reeling over the first weekend of February when it learnt that three pupils of the Hoërskool Driehoek in Vanderbijlpark were killed. A walkway collapsed as a group of pupils was moving between two buildings. A fourth died in hospital two days later and 20 others were left with injuries of varying degrees. The school’s principal, Hein Knoetze, said that there was no way that anybody could have foreseen the walkway’s collapse. Businesses, the state and the public have since rallied behind the friends and families of those who lost their lives. In Preparation THE Chinese New Year is a big deal. The poor kid’s turning 20 in March and yet his parents, David and Victoria, see it fit to scold him for something he did when he was 18. That something was Rita Ora. Kylie Jenner cancelled her daughter Stormi’s first birthday party due to a bad weather forecast.
