It’s that time of year when planning and preparation for the year-end break reaches a peak. Things might not extend to a new vehicle, but they will certainly include a revision of the accessories you do have, and a wish list of the things that would make a difference to the camping experience. Resist the urge to go out and buy every gadget and gizmo ever invented to tickle your overlanding fantasies. Try to ignore the salesman at the lekker local fitment shop who steers you towards the latest, niftiest outdoor wonder and lets your imagination do the rest.
