The architects and designers were given a complex brief for the alteration of this holiday home. On the one hand, when the family are ready for a getaway, it has to provide a soothing space to relax and unwind. On the other, because it is also to serve as a retreat for corporate executives, it needs to have a fairly neutral ambience. “With magnificent views from picture windows, the play of contrast and texture makes a tactile haven.” The solution?
