number one

The intense season of the most important international boat shows has come to a close. Among these the Cannes Yachting Festival spurred by the market’s needs towards larger and larger yachts, the Monaco Yacht Show, which is still representing the most determining moment for b2b meetings concerning super and megayachts segments, and finally the International Fort Lauderdale Boat Show where the over 24 metre Italian yachting industry takes the lion’s share. We can finalize some conclusions on this year and ponder on the next. The considerable number of Italian yachts exhibited in the course of the above mentioned events and the number of more or less imminent launches, are proof enough of the high level of international interest for made in Italy brands. Amer, Baglietto, Benetti, Cantieri di Pisa, Codecasa, CRN, Mondomarine,…

benetti now

Presented for the first time in the course of the latest Monaco Yacht Show, Benetti Now is the new project from Benetti shipyard and by architect Stefano Nattucci and by designers from British Redman Whiteley Dixon studio. The project design work comprised a year’s meetings, market research, intuition and deductions. Benetti Now is none other than the starting platform which will enable the yard to build unique yachts with undisputed excellence and reduced delivery times, built on the lines of what the yard does with the semi-custom range at the premises in Viareggio. Currently with Benetti Now this operative working system which is based on pre-conceived naval platforms will be also applied to the Leghorn shipyard as well but for yachts measuring over 50 metres. This method does not aim…

canados widens its range

In the course of the latest Cannes Yachting Festival, Canados Yachts from Ostia presented three new models. The least striking is a 95’ version from the expedition line called Oceanic Yachts. We’re talking about a 28.95 metre in composites with a sporty displaning hull which guarantees added comfort when planing and when cruising in displacement mode. The yard’s design team with Cristiano Gatto who drew up the interiors initialled the project design work. This 95’ looks like an oversized 76’ GT Oceanic Yacht seen in Cannes at the recent boat show. The upper deck of the 95’ can sport a closed deck area or an open one fitted with a lighter hard top while keen deep sea fishermen can deploy the extended stern platform (by 2 feet) with a full…
