Q ACOUSTICS M20 Q Acoustics’ range of bookshelf speakers are synonymous with audiophile-thrilling sound. What they aren’t usually known for, however, is affordability. So when we heard the brand was launching a new set of active, hi-res bookshelves for under £500, our ears pricked up. The Q Acoustics M20 each use a 22mm tweeter and 125mm mid-range driver powered by a built-in 130 watt amplifier. They can play CD-quality 24-bit/48kHz audio over Bluetooth aptX and, if you really want to max out your streaming setup, up to 24bit/192kHz hi-res audio over a wired input. Not only that but they draw on the audio-engineering finesse of their more expensive siblings, with their curved speaker grilles dispersing tweeter activity to reduce unwanted reflections. editor’s letter

Everyone loves a comeback. Like the Jedi, Michael Myers and the King before us, T3 has returned. Our long walk in the wilderness – alright, our long sit in our respective home offices – is over and we have reclaimed our castle at the heart of our tech kingdom: T3 Towers. Getting back to the office has actually been pretty exciting. Not because we’ve finally been able to recover our coffee mugs – mine hasn’t been washed for 15 months and has subsequently taken over much of the fifth floor. But because the team is finally back together and tackling the deluge of inbound tech. And with a bunch of gear from Galaxy Unpacked already on our desks and a new iPhone in the offing, we need all hands at the…

1 SAMSUNG GALAXY Z FLIP3 • From £999, samsung.com Samsung’s bendable range grabs the headlines like no other, and the recent Galaxy Unpacked event proved that the Korean giant still has flexibility placed at the head of the line. So T3 should be putting the star of the show, the newly toughened Z Fold3 (with its pressure-retracting S Pen and mostly-invisible under-screen selfie cam) in the Horizon top spot, right? Ordinarily, yes. That appears to be one seriously awesome phone, and we’ll be taking a good look at it very soon. But realistically there’s something about the Z Flip3 which excites us even more. It’s the price. £300 less than the Z Flip 5G, introduced at the start of this year, the Z Flip3 sneaks in just under the £1,000 mark. That is…

a sneaky peek

GUCCI ACE WEBBING-TRIMMED LEATHER SNEAKERS Glamour, opulence, scandal: the Italian-born design house is a symbol of those who aren’t shy of making a bold statement with their fashion. While these classic white sneakers aren’t cheap, they don’t stint on style either. £460, mrporter.com CONVERSE COSY GRANOLA CHUCK TAYLOR 70 HI Try saying ‘cosy granola’ not in an American accent. Yup, we can’t either… These quirky Chuck Taylors, says Converse, “combine mountain town style and city fashion”. Whatever the inspiration, we reckon the bold, block-colour contrast looks pukka. £85, endclothing.com NIKE BLAZER MID ’77 These suede-trimmed leather sneakers do more than just nod to the past. It’s more like a respectful bow. We love classic design and these sneakers certainly tick our retro inclinations with a high top, big Nike swooshes and thick rubber soles. £90, mrporter.com PAUL SMITH GREEN…
