We can encounter many ailments – yellowing, toe nail fungus and even onychogryphosis, known as ram’s horn nail, which can only be treated by a podiatrist. My mum, Rosina, had a really simple but effective pedicure routine. Every night she’d apply tea tree oil to prevent nail fungus from building up, and once a week she soaked her feet for 10 minutes in warm water with olive oil to help soften nails.
