Highlights
November produced a Red-eyed Vireo on St Agnes, Scilly, at the start of the month. The Lesser Yellowlegs remained at Lytchett Bay, throughout the month. A first-winter male of that classic November beach species, Desert Wheatear, was at Thurlestone, Devon.
AVON HIGHLIGHTS: There was a Cattle Egret at Weston STW (20th), with it, or another, over Chew (30th).
PORTISHEAD AND CLEVEDON: Four Purple Sandpipers returned (from 18th). There was a Jack Snipe (5th), 15 Grey Plovers (6th), two Goldeneyes (2nd), a Common Scoter (20th), three Black Redstarts (24th), a Great White Egret (29th) and three White-fronted Geese (30th).
SEVERNSIDE: Waders included an Avocet (5th), 20 Grey Plovers (3rd), a Ruff (5th), seven Jack Snipe (7th) and a Spotted Redshank (15th). There were seven Brent Geese (24th), and…
