THE family of Struggle icon Imam Abdullah Haron believe they are one step closer to knowing the truth about the way he died in police detention on September 27, 1969, after the announcement of the reopening of an inquest into his death.
However, they criticised the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) for dragging its feet, and for them only learning about the news through social media yesterday, which they called “disrespectful”.
