I am trying to learn to walk in new ways.
It is not about gait, shuffle, speed, distance or even direction.
It is about overconfidence.
I’ve been told, more than a few times, that I walk with overconfidence, an attitude, with presumption in my step, and, well, I am trying to walk with less of all of it.
“Reduce the swagger,” I tell myself, “lower your levels of assumption and presumption.”
It doesn’t come easily.
