Leaving the family business
For most of my life, I’ve worked with my siblings (and, until a couple of years ago, my late father) in our hotel. Now in my mid-40s, I feel the time has come for me to try something new. I’m terrified my family will think I’m letting them down, though, even if they won’t come out and say it. I know they’ll want what’s best for me, but I’m scared of upsetting them. How do I approach this?
