When did you find out John had killed Nate? I filmed that scene in my fourth week of being here nearly a year ago. When I got the script I couldn’t believe it! They explained it was a flashback and how it would all play out. Was it hard to keep the secret? Very hard, I had to constantly check myself in interviews! Sarah breaks down in Jacob’s arms this week, after she is diagnosed with having the early stages of cervical cancer. Once Sarah hears that her biopsy results are ready, she feels concerned about what might be waiting for her. Bravely, the mechanic attends Hotten General on her own, but is devastated to hear the terrible news that follows. “The consultant explains that she has cervical cancer,” our village spy reveals. “Luckily, the doctors have caught it in its early stages, but the diagnosis is still terrifying beyond belief. Sarah is only 19 years old, and she had hopes of becoming pregnant soon. Brave and bold I was in floods of tears watching the episode of Hollyoaks where Ro rang the helpline instead of taking his life. That note on the door was gut-wrenching, and as a mum I can imagine how awful that would be. Good on Hollyoaks for making their stories this brave and honest!
