On New Year’s Day Nick Gordon—the ex-boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown, the late daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown—was found unresponsive from a heroin overdose in an Orlando hotel room. Gordon’s brother Jack Walker Jr. confirmed Gordon had died in a statement: “We are devastated by the loss of my beautiful brother … Nick’s battle in life was not an easy one.” His death, at age 30, is the latest in a long saga of addiction and tragedy surrounding the Houston family.
