HEXAGON PLANTER All it takes is six even pieces of wood and some angled cuts to make this stunning cedar planter, opposite and right. For the small planter, using a compound miter saw, cut six pieces of cedar wood to 6 3–8 inches wide and 7 inches tall. (For the large planter, cut six boards to 8½ inches wide and 7 inches tall.)
