AFTER AN ILLUSTRIOUS KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN IN 2012, in which it raised more than $8 million, Ouya, the company behind the $99 Android gaming console, fell into a well. The hackable-console firm lurched from setback to setback, with the situation seemingly coming to a head in April. A leaked memo from Ouya CEO Julie Uhrman reportedly suggested the company was struggling to restructure its debt. Put simply, it was in desperate need of a buyout. But now, it seems, there may well be hope. Well, maybe.
