1 cup cooked, brown rice
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 cups cooked, canned black beans
1tbs chilli powder
1tsp salt
1tsp cumin
2tbs tomato sauce
2tbs vegetable oil
4 hamburger buns
2 tomatoes
lettuce
Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C)
In a food processor, pulse onion, cooked rice, breadcrumbs, black beans, chilli powder, salt, cumin and ketchup and mix until well combined (about 15 seconds).
Divide mixture into 4 portions and form into patties.
Place the patties on an oiled baking sheet.
Bake for 12 minutes, turn over and cook for another 10 minutes, adding oil if necessary.
Serve on buns and garnish with tomatoes, lettuce and condiments of your choice.…
