Comfort Food Homemade Chili INGREDIENTS: 2 lbs. of ground beef1 tbsp. garlic, minced1 red bell pepper, small diced1 Spanish onion, small diced1 28 oz. can of crushed tomatoes3 tbsp. dark chili powder15.5 oz. canned red kidney beans2 tbsp. hot sauceSalt & Pepper to taste. INSTRUCTIONS: In a pot, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat. Once cooked, remove the beef and drain the fat. In the original pot, sweat the garlic, pepper and onions. Add the tomatoes and cooked beef and stir to incorporate. Next, add the remaining ingredients and stir well. Reduce heat to medium and let simmer for 30-45 minutes.
