THE sister of slain former councillor, Sunil Brijmohan, 46, last week testified in court about the toxic relationship he had shared with his then 19-year-old son.
In the Durban High Court, on Friday, Natisha Brijmohan was called as a State witness in the trial of the four men accused of killing her brother, comprising his best friend and business partner, Vikash Brian Sewnath, 46, Vernon Chetty, 26, Farah Moosa, 25, and Sibusiso Ngcobo, 26.
Brijmohan, a businessman, was gunned down outside a construction site in Cato Crest in Amanzimtoti, on October 21, 2022.
Natisha said in the year of Brijmohan’s death, the relationship between the father and son had “started to change”.
