Stephen Stewart Stephen Stewart has been shooting advertising his entire career, for more than 20 years. “I love being an ad shooter as it’s always throwing up new creative challenges,” says Stewart. “It allows my clients and me to think about new ways to develop and create contemporary images.” This campaign was a combined effort with Electric Art. “We have a great synergy, and when we join forces, amazing results are created,” says Stewart. “I am a purist when it comes to photojournalism, but when it comes to advertising, bring out the big bag of tricks, I say!” For the campaign, the creative development process was to break the images down into component elements. This exhibition displays over 300 images by rock photographer Tony Mott, the British-born chef who went on to become the photographer of choice for some of the biggest names in the music industry. It tells the story of rock music in Australia over the last 30 years. Contemporary artist and humanitarian, Stuart Robertson was born in Auckland, New Zealand in 1969. In creating his art, he melds photography, film, digital media, symbolism, hand-blown glass and neon with his background in design and fabrication. Paris-based Robin Hammond’s eyes have seen things you could not imagine. With an interest in human rights and developing issues in our world, the photojournalist has had the opportunity to document and share the stories of those who are voiceless. With bodies of work exploring topics like attitudes to mental health in Africa, his efforts have awarded him with a World Press Photo prize and four Amnesty International awards for Human Rights journalism. The German-made camera features a 24-megapixel full-frame sensor and a 2.95” back panel display with customisable buttons as well as touchscreen menu navigation. Equipped with 2GB buffer memory, together with Leica’s high-performance Maestro II series processor, the camera can shoot 11 frames per second at full resolution. 4K video is available with a frame rate of 30 frames per second.
