I LIVED in Moseley, Queensburgh, from 1982 to 2002 and travelled this busy road (M7) daily. The central meridian and verges of both lanes were mostly always kept in trim, giving one a sense of orderliness and satisfaction that the Roads Department cared, and it was also litter free.
Fast forward to 2022, and see for yourself what that stretch of road looks like. Overgrown, everything everywhere! Hundreds of tons of litter everywhere, not to forget that the entire road surface(s) are now dangerous to drive on.
So, what to do? Well, firstly, where is the Roads Department (provincial)?
Secondly, do they have an “annual plan of operations” in force? If not, why not? Thirdly, have they budgeted for the M7’s maintenance recently, or not?
