Just weeks before the season finale of The Wonder Years reboot came a shocking announcement: Executive producer Fred Savage, who starred in the original series as a child, was fired for misconduct. “We were made aware of allegations of inappropriate conduct by Fred Savage,” read a statement from the studio, 20th Television. “The decision was made to terminate his employment.” No further details were released, but a source who worked with Savage, 45, on a previous show says that he “could have a temper” and had occasional outbursts on-set. “He’d snap at people,” adds another former colleague.
