“Ta-ra Pat Phelan – it’s been a blast!” Well, while one soap psycho bows out this week, another has truly been born – as we’re still gasping at Lachlan’s cold-blooded murder of Gerry in Emmerdale last week. Okay, so Lachy killed a couple of his family members a few months ago, but that could maybe… just about… well, perhaps be passed off as a moment of madness, as he snapped at the thought of being forever separated from the love of his life, Belle. But when he dropped that rock on his best mate’s head, we realised Lachlan had crossed that line drawn in the soap sand, and is now definitely on the dark side!
So, to make room for Lachy in the soap bad-lad lands, we have to say…
