Sinead hears devastating news this week, after her oncologist tells her that her cancer has spread – and she must deliver her baby right now! Time is of the essence if Sinead wants to beat her illness, and the experts tell her she must start radiotherapy as soon as she can. That means giving birth to her son much earlier than expected to avoid harming him – but neither mother nor child are guaranteed to pull through… “The idea Sinead may lose her baby is heartbreaking” “This is Sinead’s worst nightmare – not only is her own life in jeopardy, but she could lose her baby too!” gasps our cobbles insider. “Ever since she first found out she has cancer, her only thought has been the safety of her son.…

Sinead may be on the mend for now, but her future is still in jeopardy. New Coronation Street boss Iain MacLeod recently admitted that he hasn’t decided yet how this story will end, and there’s still every chance that Sinead’s cancer could eventually claim her life… “It’s a really long running story and we genuinely haven’t decided what we are doing with the ending,” he teased. “Certainly, the longer it goes on the harder it becomes to kill Sinead because Katie [McGlynn, who plays her] and Rob [Mallard, aka Daniel] have been so good in it – they’re almost acting their way off the butcher’s block.”…

Cain’s world is set to crumble this week, when he confesses to daughter Debbie that he killed her fiancé Joe. As the knowledge that her former husband-to-be is dead – and at her father’s hands – starts sinking in, it’s a horrific time for Debbie. Heartbroken by the fact that his relationship with his adored girl will never be the same again, Cain can barely cope with the nightmare of his predicament.
