July is National Parks and Recreation Month. I’ve been lucky enough to visit a few amazing national parks in the U.S., but the most memorable one, at least so far, is Glacier National Park in Montana. I remember hiking up to Grinnell Glacier, which is a tough slog, but stunning every step of the way. I saw bighorn sheep, bears, mountain goats, moose, and more! The glacier itself is awesome, but it’s gradually shrinking and could disappear at some point, so I’m glad I had a chance to experience it. Reading in nature, in one of our country’s beautiful parks, is, for me, therapeutic, meditative, and uplifting.
